The ingredients needed to make Masaledar Bhindi:

  1. {Get 500 gm of Bhindi/ lady finger.
  2. {Prepare 1 cup of Dahi/ curd.
  3. {Make ready 1 cup of Tomato puree.

  5. {Get 2 tsp of cumin seeds.
  6. {Take 2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  7. {Prepare 2 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  9. {Get 1 tsp of Cumin powder.
  10. {Get 2 tsp of Chat Masala.
  11. {Get to taste of Salt.
  12. {Make ready 4 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  13. {Make ready as needed of Oil.

Steps to make Masaledar Bhindi:

  1. Firstly in a vok, add 4 tbsp of oil, in it add cumin seeds.Let it crackle for while, Then add in it chopped onion and saute it for 2 min till it become translucent..
  2. After that, add the bhindi's in the vok. Stir and mix them well.
  3. Now in it add add lemon juice and and green chillies and cook them till all the bhindi get properly fry and cooked and become soft. Turn off the gas and keep it aside..
  4. Here after that, in another pan add 4 tbsp of oil, then add ginger-garlic paste saute it in low flame till there raw smell goes off..
  5. Now add, all the dry masala : red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin and chat masala powder. Then simultaneously add 2 tbsp of water and saute the masala's properly in medium flame for about 2 min.Then again add the water and repeat this proces for 2 more times.So that Masala get properly cooked..
  6. Then add, curd and mix them.Cook them for 2 more mins..
  7. Lastly add, tomato puree in the masala.Mix them and saute till oil separates from the masala..
  8. Finally,atlast add this masala into bhindi and stir them with light hand and add 2 tbsp of water and cook them for about 5 min in medium flame and turn of the gas..
  9. Masaledar Bhindi is ready to serve with "garma - garam" roti..
